Roundish flan with nearly full shield and cross (with distinctive fleur tips), no corrosion but peripherally flat except for full last digit of date, which appears to be a multiple overdate (7/6/5/4?), also with clear denomination 8, toned in crevices. With original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his Concepción contract with the Dominican Republic. Recovered from: Concepción, sunk in 1641 off Hispaniola
